The 17¢ Hosting Package

Our most basic hosting package, which really started it all, is the 17¢ package. This package will allow most small businesses and individuals wanting to have their own website accomplish just that, without fear of quickly outgrowing the package.

You will be able to establish your brand and build authority for your business by having an email account with your own name and domain name on it, not via a free service like G-Mail or Yahoo Mail. This package also includes one MySQL database which allows you to set up most basic scripts like WordPress, Joomla, a bulletin board system and many others.

What can you fit on 250MB of Storage?

A basic installation of WordPress only needs 3-6MB of space to be set up. If you set up your small business website as a WordPress blog (which is very easy to do and provides a simple head-start on SEO optimization) with maybe 50 posts/pages and one small photo for every post, you may hit 10MB.

An intermediate site which has weekly blogging will generally reach 100 MB of storage space within the first. But as you can see, you’ve got plenty of room to grow, even with the smallest of our hosting packages — and it’s never a bad time to upgrade once you become a web celebrity.

The Bronze Hosting Package, with a price tag of only 70¢ per month, is a great package for small- to medium-sized businesses which are receiving several thousand visitors a month, but do not plan to grow their website into something with more than 200 or so pages.

Perhaps you have a small blog you are posting on once or twice a week, with lots of images to provide detail for your posts. You don’t yet need a huge hosting package, but all of those medium-resolution images take up quite a bit of space on your server…and if things go well, you hope to grow your blog into a real source of income via ad revenues or sales of your own products.

Our Silver Hosting Package for just $1.75 a month, is a great middle of the road package for the small- or medium-sized company or an individual who has already created a presence online and just wants to experience a lower hosting fee — as well as for those who are just getting started but intend to grow their content rapidly.

Content is king online, and a website with lots of information to peruse and keep the visitor entertained as well as informed is crucial.
